Job Summary

The Payments Implementation Lead is responsible for delivering value to new and existing Boost customers by coordinating implementation projects and guiding them to completion. This key role moves freely between Boost’s customers, payment partners like processors and card brands, and Boost’s departments including Business Development, Customer Service, Operations and Technology. The ideal candidate has a proven skills in customer communication, business analysis and project management, supported by a strong background in card payments (preferably business-to-business). The role begins with a single direct report, but will grow as Boost continues to grow.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Partner with Boost Business Development and Sales representatives and work with external customers to define and scope new implementations
  • Work with Customer Service and Operations to define process changes required to support new customers 
  • Fully coordinate the Business Analysis phase of new projects, ensuring clear definition for any technology changes 
  • Manage the Boost Project Pipeline by coordinating and agreeing project priorities and managing timelines and deliveries 
  • Lead implementation of new partner connections: gateways, processors, etc. 
  • Manage business analyst and reporting resources to leverage Boost’s data to provide better products and services to clients and to internal management

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management and delivery 
  • 5+ years of program management, coordinating multiple projects 
  • Business process analysis and change experience 
  • Exceptional communication skills – verbal and written 
  • 3+ years in payments – B2B card payments experience strongly preferred 
  • Proven experience with the software development lifecycle 
  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance 
  • Microsoft Office Suite skills 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Additional skills a plus:
    • Experience with both small companies and large enterprises
    • Technology and/or regulatory compliance experience
    • Language skills: Spanish, French, Portuguese
