Boost Payment Solutions, Inc (“Boost”) was founded for the purpose of migrating payments between
businesses, institutions, and government agencies from paper checks to electronic alternatives. Boost
is an independent sales organization dedicated solely to the business-to-business and business-togovernment communities and assists those sectors navigate the complex world of electronic
payments.
Job Summary
This is a new Role in the NAM Region to accelerate the expansion of Boost Payment Solutions business in the region.
The new VP of Business Development will represent Boost Payment Solutions, Inc. (“Boost”), its brand and its products and services by establishing and maintaining new commercial relationships with commercial card issuers, card-accepting suppliers, prospective card-accepting suppliers, buyers, software providers and other third parties for the sole purpose of meeting financial targets and generating revenue and growth volume for Boost.
The VP of Business Development is a hands-on role that entails both hunting and farming. The Employee will work directly with Sales Management or the Chief Revenue Officer (“CRO”) to implement Boost Payment Solutions’ (“Boost”) sales strategy with the goal of increasing revenues.
Duties and Responsibilities
Build a strong pipeline and achieve company sales targets and forecast
Open new markets with new Issuers/Payers/Intermediaries/Acquirers and Suppliers in the local markets
Provide regular reports on business development activities, results and future forecasts
Provide market feedback to management to help optimize product strategy and positioning
Research and monitor trends in the B2B payments marketplace
Monitor client and partner needs & pain points to identify new markets and verticals for existing products, new partnership opportunities, and new product & service offerings
Attend trade shows, conferences and networking opportunities

Lou Longhi, Chief Revenue Officer
Qualifications
Preferred candidate will:
Have excellent and proven senior sales experience, especially opening new markets (Business Development).
Experience managing partners.
Strong background in B2B sales and/or business development (3+ years).
Experience in the electronic payment industry a requirement.
Experience in and/or knowledge of either AP and/or AR automation marketplaces a significant plus.
Maintain a proactive approach to establishing an expert understanding of the capability, benefits and competitive advantages of the Boost Payment Solutions service portfolio matched with a thorough understanding of customer requirements.
Demonstrable experience developing and growing partnerships
Demonstrate co-working capabilities with other Boost teams and regions throughout the world
Establish a thorough understanding of competitor capabilities and position/utilize this information to increase Boost’s Sales capabilities.
Have excellent organizational skills, administration skills and verbal/written communication skills.
Have a University bachelor’s degree; Graduate Degree preferred.
