Additional Information on the Visa Commercial Enhanced Data Program Network Fee and Interchange Impact
As your trusted B2B payments partner, Boost is doing everything necessary to meet updated transactional data requirements and ensure that you continue to receive the lowest published interchange rates available.
The CEDP implementation will take place in two phases:
PHASE 1- EFFECTIVE MAY 3, 2025
- In April 2025 Visa will introduce a new CEDP Enrollment fee of 0.05% on all qualifying commercial card transactions.
 - This fee is required in order to continue accessing Level 3/ Large Ticket interchange rates, the lowest rates publicly available to commercial customers.
 - If this fee is not paid, Visa will automatically default all transactions to Commercial Card Not Present interchange rates of 2.70% + $0.10.
 - Please note that Boost is not increasing any fees for our services, this is strictly a pass-through of the new network fee that Visa is implementing.

What does this mean for you?
Boost is committed to ensuring you receive the lowest published interchanges rates available on all transactions. As such, we will pass through this 0.05% network fee increase on qualifying transactions and continue to provide all necessary data to Visa to qualify for Level 3/Large Ticket Interchange. There is no action required on your part. You will see this change reflected on your daily funding reports starting May 3, 2025 and your Boost monthly processing statement starting in June.
PHASE 2- EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 17, 2025
- On October 17, 2025, Visa will replace the existing Commercial Interchange Rate Tables with the new CEDP Rate Table for qualifying transactions.
 - Participating merchants that submit Level 3 commercial card data that’s accurate and validated by Visa will benefit from rate reductions for the following transition categories:
- Corporate Non-Travel Product 3 — 1.75% + $0.10 (instead of 1.90% + $0.10)
 - Corporate Large Ticket — 1.30% + $35 (instead of 1.45% + $35)

 - In order to qualify for these new rates, Boost will ensure that commercial transactions meet the new stricter data requirements.
 - These transactions will continue to be subject to the CEDP Enrollment Fee of 0.05%.

What does this mean for you?
As your trusted payments partner, Boost will be ready to meet all new data requirements by the CEDP implementation deadline, ensuring you will receive the new lowest published interchanges rates available on all qualifying transactions. As of October 17, 2025 you can expect to see net savings of ~0.10% to your overall effective rate for Visa commercial card transactions. There is no action required on your part to qualify for these lower rates. You will see this change reflected on your daily funding reports starting October 17, 2025 and your Boost monthly processing statement starting in November.
